Beyond his role as a chiropractor, Dr. Matt and his wife, Mikala, serve as the campus pastors of Awaken Church’s San Marcos Campus. Together, they are passionate about fostering spiritual growth and building a thriving community. They are also the proud parents of three beautiful children—Mikah, Maverick, and Merrick—who inspire them daily to lead with love, faith, and purpose.

After first receiving his Bachelors of Science degree in Zoology from Miami University, Dr. McWhorter went on to receive both his Doctorate of Chiropractic and Masters of Sports Rehabilitation from Logan University in Chesterfield, Missouri. After graduating and moving to the Denver metro area, Dr. McWhorter has quickly become an innovative voice and an inspiring leader as a top rated chiropractor in Colorado and was acknowledged as one of the top doctors of America in 2021.

Dr. McWhorter primarily focuses on issues dealing with the spine, shoulders, and knees, but his various specialties encompass much more. As a leading Centennial chiropractor with extensive experience in neurological rehabilitation, Dr. McWhorter provides a wide variety of services, including Class IV Laser Therapy, Gyrostim, Infrared Light Therapy, Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy, Neurofeedback, and so much more. Our founder has also had extensive experience dealing with concussions and traumatic brain injuries - more specifically concussion prevention, baseline testing, and cognitive rehabilitation. We are incredibly familiar with a wide variety of neurological conditions and we strive to treat those conditions effectively with our innovative neurological treatment techniques.
